Witnessing one of the most important steps in the history of civilization in the capital of the Hittites, Hattusas (or Hattusa, Hattusha) which is in UNESCO World Heritage List, we’ll follow the footsteps of the Hittites in Alacahöyük, Şapinuva, Yazılıkaya and Boğazköy Museum. We’ll be discovering the Hittites’ legacies at the Ankara Museum of Anatolian Civilizations. We’ll observe the best examples of Ottoman culture in Amasya, one of the educational cities of Sultan’s children.

Day 1: ISTANBUL - ANKARA - HATTUSAS - CORUM
Day 1: ISTANBUL - ANKARA - HATTUSAS - CORUM

After the meeting at Ankara Esenboğa Airport early in the morning we drive to Çorum. First stop will be Yazılıkaya, the open air sanctuary of Hittites. Then we continue to the spectacular city of Hattusas, the capital of the Hittite Empire where we see the Lion Gate, the Tunnel, Kings Gate and Great Citadel. After we have a walking tour in the city center of Çorum. Overnight in Çorum.

Day 2: CORUM – ŞAPINUVA - AMASYA
Day 2: CORUM – ŞAPINUVA  - AMASYA

After breakfast, we visit Şapinuva, one of the most important Hittite cities of the empire era. Then we drive to Amasya and discover the city. We'll visit Sultan Beyazid II Complex (can only be seen from outside due to ongoing renovation works), Burmali (Spiral) Minaret, the Clock Tower and Gümüşlü Mosque. After lunch break we will visit Amasya Archaeology Museum and Sabuncuoglu Medical Museum. Dinner and overnight in Amasya.

Day 3: GUMUSHACIKOY – MERZİFON –CORUM
Day 3: GUMUSHACIKOY – MERZİFON –CORUM

After breakfast we will visit Rock Tombs of Kings, the Castle and Hazeranlar Mansion. Afterwards, we drive to Merzifon, referred to as "Thousand Villages" by historian and geographer Strabon. We will walk around the town to see Kara Mustafa Pasha Mosque, the Clock Tower, Taşhan (Caravanserai), the covered bazaar, hammam and Abide Hatun Mosque. We will have lunch before we leave the town for Gumushacikoy, the old trade center of the region and one the prominent centers of the ancient Silk Road. Here, we will take a look at the trio of Koprulu Mehmet Pasha Mosque, the Covered Bazaar and Hammam from outside. Then we drive back to Corum. Overnight in Corum.

Day 4: ALACAHOYUK – ANKARA -ISTANBUL

Morning visit Corum Archaeological Museum holding 12,337 pieces from Hellenistic,
Roman-Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman era in addition to Hittite and Phrygian periods. Then drive to Alacahoyuk, an open air museum dates back 4,500 years to the Chalcolithic period, one of the most important centre of the Hittites. It has a magnificent gate with a sphinx, as well as religious and official structures and it was also home to the first dam in Anatolia. After lunch break we drive back to Ankara and visit Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, numerous remnants of the Stone Age, Neolithic Age, Hittites, Urartians, Phygians and more. The tour ends with transfer to Ankara Airport.
