In Golden Horn tour we visit Kadir Has University former Cibali Tabocco Factory with its museum and the Cibali Gate. Then the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Gül Camii (Hagia Theodosia Church) and Kantemir House. Discover Fener Greek Orthodox Church of the Virgin Mary (the oldest church still active in the city) and Fener Greek High School. Explore the history of the building of Orthodox Patriarchate and the Church of St. George. Also Sveti Stefan (Bulgarian Orthodox Church), Ioannis Prodromos Church (Tur-ı Sinai Monastery). Having a walk in Balat district and visit the Armenian Church of Surp Hreşdagabet and the Ahrida Synagogue. Then Ayvansaray district; Church of St. Mary of Blachernae and the Hagiasma (fountain holy water). Also interesting Jewish, Greek and Armenian structures, city walls and examples of civil architecture (some of the indicated buildings will be seen from outside).

Are there any unavailable days for this tour?
Hagia Sophia is closed on Mondays and Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays. So Mondays and Tuesdays are unavailable for this tour. (During summer Hagia Sophia is open on Mondays unless otherwise specified by the museum management.)
What to wear for the tour?
We recommend comfortable shoes and in the mosques and religious buildings modest clothes for men and women. Also it is recommended to carry a scarf for women in the religious buildings.
